psychofactz: Cyros International, the world’s largest sperm bank, has started turning away red headed donors.  The low demand for red headed babies apparently has roots that go far back.  Ancient Egyptians were said to have buried redheaded men alive and in medieval times, red hair was associated with moral degradation and intense sexual desire. Redheads were  even regarded as vampires, werewolves and witches.
